How the Program Could Work in Your Veterinary Clinic

  1. Veterinary management uses the Pet Wellness Report system as standard protocol for all annual exams regardless of the pet’s age.
  2. Clinic personnel collect specimens from the patient. Staff provides the pink copy of the laboratory form to the client. This form includes the patient’s PIN and instructions for your client’s Pet Wellness Report (PWR) registration at www.PetHealthSystems.com.
  3. The pet owner goes online and completes a lifestyle assessment questionnaire called the Pet Wellness Report.
  4. Your clinic sends the patient’s specimens to Pet Health Systems’ laboratory.
  5. Your clinic receives the laboratory results the next day and calls the pet owner to discuss the laboratory results. Clinic personnel or the veterinarian make recommendations for follow-up treatment or a recheck of any issues.
  6. After two days, the Pet Wellness Report is available for your client to view and print by going online to www.PetHealthSystems.com and entering their last name, pet’s name, and PIN.
  7. As often as desired, clinic staff who have access can go online to review your clinic’s Veterinary Management Report™ (VMR). Any medical issues disclosed by the pet owner in the PWR can be viewed and evaluated. The VMR also enables the clinic’s management to evaluate wellness program compliance.
